Giuliano Sider

Giuliano Sider is an Economics and Italian double major at Vassar College. People have historically butchered his name in speech and in writing, but they seldom fail to recall, and he seldom fails to mention, his tropical origins. While he may have claimed in the past to have learned English in a two-week crash course right before college, our exhaustive research has found that he actually studied in an American school in Brazil for eight years, and before that, he lived for a while in New York City, and Walnut Creek, California.
He is young, ambitious, and passionate about expressing ideas in conversation and in writing, although there are mischievous rumors that this semester he handpicked his classes to exclude the possibility of having to write long papers.
Among his interests are debating politics, playing soccer, and learning random – and occasionally even functional – phrases in foreign languages. Among some of his new interests are playing tennis and reading the Wall Street Journal. He is a supporter of São Paulo Football Club. In fact, they will clearly win the league this year.
