Foster Ranney

Foster Ranney

Foster Ranney came to Vassar expecting to be an English major and found himself swooning for the evolutionary cognitive science. Whether revising academic papers or science fiction, he enjoys engaging in writing as a process and hopes that people leave the Writing Center feeling the same way. He hopes one day to teach or, should the field of genetic engineering prove more lucrative, to become a dinosaur rancher. The Writing Center should prepare him for either career goal. His favorite authors include David Gilmour, Robert Fripp, Steven Wilson and Thom Yorke.
