Emily Dake

Emily Dake

Emily Dake is a junior English major who also loves Religion, Anthropology, and Jewish Studies. Emily loves music and consequently lives in Skinner taking part in Women's Chorus, Madrigals, and Jazz Combo #2. In her spare time, Emily loves to read Flannery O'Connor, Rumi as translated by Coleman Barks, and the occasional (or daily) celebrity gossip blog. She also loves the outdoors and was a competitive climber, but now she only glimpses the sky while running to and fro about campus, and only climbs the stairs in Main building when the elevator breaks. She is extremely excited to read her peers’ papers and to find out what Vassar students are thinking and writing about.
